Community Involvement

Giving Where We Live

Giving back to our community and supporting those in need is one of our core values. Similar to our dedication to excellence in our professional services, it is deeply rooted in our corporate culture to create a lasting, positive impact in the communities in which we do business.

Good Tidings Foundation
Robert A Bothman Construction has worked with the Good Tidings Foundation and Larry Harper (Founder) since 2001 constructing athletic fields throughout the Northern California.

The Good Tidings Foundation is a local charity that supports the arts, education and athletics for the underserved youth in our local communities. Robert A Bothman Construction has partnered with The Good Tidings to construct and or reconstruct athletic fields in communities all around the Bay Area.

Robert A Bothman Construction and The Good Tidings Foundation share a similar philosophy in that all children should have the opportunity to experience playing a sport on a field that they can be proud of and enjoy the experience regardless of their families financial status, ethnic background, religion, or geographical location.

The 49ers Foundation
Since 2009 Robert A. Bothman Construction has proudly supported The 49ers Foundation.

In 1991, the 49ers Foundation set out on a mission to make a difference in the lives of children and families in across the San Francisco Bay Area. For the past 26 years, the 49ers Foundation has championed charitable initiatives that support education and wellness for underserved Bay Area youth spanning efforts in the classroom, on the playing field and beyond. As long as children learn to learn, they will continue to educate themselves for the rest of their lives. In support of helping Bay Area children realize their full potential, whether as a teammate or class leader, The 49ers Foundation has distributed more than $40 million into the community to help children realize their full potential. For these collective efforts, made possible by 49ers Foundation supporters like you, the San Francisco 49ers were named the ESPN Sports Humanitarian Team of the Year in 2017.

Think Local
Through a corporate matching gift program, Robert A. Bothman Construction and its employees proudly support the following local organizations:

Village House

An Interfaith Shelter of Hope serves as a place of refuge for homeless, medically-fragile women. Village House and our partners address the needs of these women through the provision of food, shelter, hygiene services, spiritual support, as well as a part-time case manager who is the coordinator of social services for our guests. Through the support of our local religious assemblies and their volunteers, our goal is to provide these vulnerable women with a caring, loving environment while attempting to stabilize their lives so that they may move beyond their homelessness.

Our Vice President James Moore has served on the Village House Board of Directors since June of 2016. He has led several teams the past two years building housing and organizing and training volunteers for an overnight shelter program.

The Family Giving Tree
Family Giving Tree proudly supports Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education by providing students the supplies they need to succeed.

Via Services has been serving the Bay Area and beyond since 1945. It is a private, independent non-profit dedicated to helping individuals with disabilities and special needs achieve greater self-sufficiency and lead richer lives. In doing so, they ultimately support the entire family. Their diverse programs offer something for everyone.

They endeavor to help people become mentally sound, emotionally balanced, socially adjusted, physically well, and spiritually alive.
