Golden West Middle School Expansion

Recognized with two 2026 ENR Northern California awards for Best K-12 Education and Excellence in Safety, the Golden West Middle School Campus Expansion reflects a commitment to quality, collaboration, and safety from construction through completion. Robert A. Bothman Construction partnered with XL Construction and TimberQuest to complete the site and concrete work for Travis Unified School District, including the play area synthetic turf.

The expansion added four permanent mass timber classroom buildings, creating modern learning spaces for Golden West students and expanding the campus in time for the 2025-26 school year. More than an expansion, the project creates an environment where students can learn, connect, and grow, leaving a lasting impact on the school community.
