RAB History

Robert A. Bothman Construction (RAB) is a full-service construction and general engineering company and offers a full complement of preconstruction and construction services for public, commercial, industrial, and privately owned projects.

Founded over 45 years ago in 1978 as B&B Concrete Construction, the company has since grown to three offices with close to 400 employees. We have been building high quality athletic facilities as a General Contractor in Northern California for over 30 years. Our installations range from municipal little league baseball fields and K-12 sports facilities to collegiate and professional installations. To date, we have installed over 30 million square feet of synthetic sport surfaces.

In addition to changing the name, we also secured A – General Engineering, B – General Building and C-27 Specialty Landscape California State Contractors Licenses to support the diversity of our tradework and capabilities.

RAB Qualifications

RAB has delivered projects under most available delivery models including negotiated, design-build, design-assist, lease-leaseback, traditional competitive design-bid-build, and public-private partnership.

Given our accomplished history with collaborative delivery for all Owners, we have the knowledge and insight to identify and resolve issues before they affect your schedule or budget. Our goal is simple: to earn your trust by delivering superior quality and service on every project.
