Madden Field / EA Sports Synthetic Turf Commemorative field

With John Madden’s passing in December of 2021, Electronic Arts (EA) honored his legacy by building a commemorative field at their headquarters in Redwood City. This Design Build project was a unique experience that also provided the platform for EA to unveil the new cover of Madden ’23. The cover was illustrated by famous artist Chuck Styles and portrayed John Madden himself.

Electronic Arts trusted Robert A. Bothman with its flagship HQ project. This included a tight schedule and a constrained project area in the center of its world HQ campus.
