Job Description:
The Business Development Coordinator will work under the direction of the VP of Business Development to assist in the execution of marketing and business development programs and initiatives focused on target markets. This position is responsible for the support of all business development, sales, and marketing activities and departments. Plus manage and maintain the data quality of the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
▪ Act as liaison between own group/supervisor and others, such as other departments, external contacts, clients, etc. Such liaison may be required to arrange meetings, clarify and resolve problems, coordinate work,  maintain working relationship and public relations, etc.
▪ Assist with and completion of companywide Prequalification documents and project proposals (RFPs/RFQs) including governmental forms.
▪ Identify, research, and track leads and opportunities.
▪ Ongoing maintenance of companywide CRM; including, but, not limited to data quality, data entry, and reporting.
▪ Ongoing maintenance of several experience databases, assist in data collection from Project Management and Estimating, tracking and reporting of data.
▪ Assist in compiling research on key clients, industries and competitors, in the region and/or market, including business trends and competitive landscape.
▪ Manage archiving and tracking of proposals and business development opportunities.
▪ Set-up and maintenance of network filing systems.
▪ Arrange department travel reservations and company events.
▪ Maintain department calendar, schedule meetings, coordinate events, etc.
▪ Compose and/or edit letters, memos, reports, procedures, etc.
▪ Special Projects – Assist with advertising pieces, social media, website updating, brochures, email campaigns and direct mail pieces as required.
▪ Maintain department collateral and supplies and website updates.

Preferred Qualifications:
▪ AS degree required in Marketing, Communications, English, Graphic Design, Literature or similar; BS degree preferred.
▪ Minimum 4 years of experience working in a Construction/Architectural/Engineering firm.
▪ Effective and Professional Communication Skills.

▪ Ability to follow directions; multi-task and work quickly within a framework where priorities often shift and/or conflict.
▪ Demonstrated ability to take initiative to solve problems with creative solutions.
▪ Microsoft Office a must, including PowerPoint.
▪ Adobe Acrobat – Creating/Organizing PDF packages experience.
▪ Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel, including the ability to work with formulas.
▪ Experience with CRM software is preferred.
▪ Adobe InDesign is strongly preferred.
▪ Strong interpersonal skills required.
▪ Strong work ethic.
▪ Effective time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
▪ Must be detail-oriented, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
▪ Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
▪ Ability to maintain Confidentiality & Professionalism.
▪ Flexibility – every day can be different.
▪ Assistance with local tradeshow/event setup/take-down for Industry and Client sponsored events and Client entertainment events.

On a daily basis this position will work with and around company proprietary information,
including, but not limited to Financial Statements and Projects covered by an NDA.

Salary Range: $85,000 – $105,000/year
